December of 1991. A political decision contains half of the centennial rail line of Tua, between Bragança and Mirandela. Fifteen years later, the whistle of the convoy just echoes in the memory of the transmontanos. A sentence amputated the development direction and it accentuated the asymmetries between the coast and the interior of Portugal. Pare, Escute, Olhe is a trip for a deep Portugal and forgotten, driven by the sovereign voice of people who are the victims of wasted promises.
